Say ‘Hoi’* to our new developer, Ronald

Last month we told you we were expanding and appealed for developers to get in touch. We're very happy to announce that Ronald Hummelink heeded our cry and has joined us as software developer.

Originally from the Netherlands, Ronald moved to the UK in 2013 to be with his wife, a local lady, and settled in Lancaster. He has a huge amount of experience as a software developer, spending eight years with the Netherlands software agency, Fadiro. There, he developed a software system for high street travel agents which he saw right through from its conception to becoming market leader. He then moved into medical software before becoming freelance on his move to the UK. One of his biggest clients was a network of schools in Barbados but, he says, "unfortunately they didn’t require site visits."

As a keen runner, Ronald’s picked a prime spot to live and work. He’s a member of the Lancaster and Morecambe Athletics Club and the Lonsdale Fell Runners, choosing to spend his spare time running on roads and fells. When he’s not running he’s cycling or hiking his way around the Lake District. It’s a good job we’re a fit lot here in the Meantime office, otherwise we’d all be feeling very inadequate right now.

So welkom,* Ronald, it’s great to have you on board.

*Dutch for ‘welcome,’ in case you were trying to work it out.

In other news, we’d like to say a HUGE congratulations to our technical director Steve. He, his beautiful wife Claire and their daughter Aimee welcomed the newest addition to their family in May. Known as Nathan, the bouncing baby boy is melting our Meantime hearts. Love and best wishes to the family (and good luck with those sleepless nights).

Because everything we build is bespoke, you might not see exactly what you need. If that’s the case please get in touch. We'd be happy to discuss how we can help you to take the first step to cutting costs and growing beyond all expectations.
