Vince Cable Visit

We’re very pleased to announce that Vince Cable MP and Tim Farron MP will be at Meantime’s offices on Saturday 28th of November.

Tim Farron is our hardworking and very successful constituency MP, who is standing for re-election next year.

Vince Cable, of course, is the Deputy Leader and Shadow Chancellor for the Liberal Democrats. His was one of the earliest voices warning of the looming financial disaster and, once recession had struck, he appeared on Newsnight with Alastair Darling and George Osborne, when Jeremy Paxman introduced him as the one MP who understood the British economy.

We would like to invite you to come along and meet both of them, to discuss local business affairs and the wider economy over drinks at our offices from 3:30pm onwards. Tickets are £50 per head, which will go towards Tim Farron’s re-election fund, and drinks and canapés will be provided.
