Last Friday was the Meantime Christmas party. In previous years, we’ve just had a meal together and, indeed, we started Friday’s fun with beers and pizza in the office.
This year, however, we decided to spread the Christmas cheer a little further afield and we took over the Vats bar at Kendal’s Brewery Arts Centre for three hours, opening it (and the bar!) to our partners and clients, plus some of the people we know and like in Kendal’s thriving business community. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves with nary a business card in sight! It’s been a great year for us, despite the difficult economic backdrop, and we already have some exciting and interesting projects lined up for next year, so it was great just to take out a few hours to celebrate our successes and enjoy one another’s company away from the office.
