Goodbye Jack, hello Zak

One of the things we are most proud of here at Meantime is that members of our team stick around for a long time.

That was certainly the case five and a half years ago when Jack Akrigg heard Fenner on local radio talking about the benefits of an apprenticeship in IT and knew he wanted to develop his talents with us. That was how, one phone call and one interview later, Jack became our very first junior developer.

That was back in 2012. Since then Jack has played a key role in many of our most important projects, but now our once junior developer has grown up and that includes a partner who’s moved to Manchester. Jack’s off to set up home there and to seek new challenges while putting his commercial experience to good use.

Whilst we are sad to see Jack go, we know he will continue to drive those projects in a Meantime kind of way. And we’re pleased to continue our support of the developer community by welcoming new talent Zak Nelson.

Zak joined us back in May, fresh from King's College London, with a mountain of theoretical knowledge and thirst to put that into practice. He’s a natural fit for our team, living, eating and breathing the life of a coder by taking on many personal projects. He likes to keep fit with biking and hiking - pausing only to read a book in the beautiful South Lakes scenery which inspires us all here at Meantime.

Because everything we build is bespoke, you might not see exactly what you need. If that’s the case please get in touch. We'd be happy to discuss how we can help you to take the first step to cutting costs and growing beyond all expectations.
